The Past of Do-Roka the Kroot

Do-Roka the Kroot mercenary serving the D'Autry Dynasty was born well over 56 cycles ago on the war-sphere Ancestors Bounty were he lived for the first 14 or so cycles of his life. He does not remember those that sired him for it has been to long since hes seen his kindred. Around his 17th cycle of existence his war-sphere found a small unnamed uninhabited world filled with lush jungle that they believed they could call home and so they settled burying their war-sphere to create their community. Unfortunately the peace thy found there was not made to last with in two cycles of there appeared suddenly a band of Tarellian mercenaries who knowing of the kroot's prowess as mercenaries demanded that the kindred hand over several of their most powerful warriors to them less there community and location be broadcasting to any who might wish to hard them fearing this the shapers did as asked handing over a hundred of their warriors Do-Roka among them.

While in the "service" of the Tarellians Do-Roka and his kroot kin were forced to partake in bloody conflict after conflict losing more and more numbers along the way eventually Do-Roka managed to miraculously escape the Tarellians service but at the cost of almost losing his own life this was in the form of an ambush that befell their patrol on an assignment to a large death-world were they were ambushed by what appeared to be space marines of a twisted nature after taking a bolter shell to the stomach and before passing out from the pain Do-Roka witnessed the Tarellians retreating while his kin fought on after he awoke several hours later to the sight of the slain bodies of his kin and the ambushers alike but not a single Tarellian corpse to be found showing that they had been left to die like grox. After a year on the planet Do-Roka managed to board a craft left unattended at the marines camp targeting the nearest celestial body with inhabited planets. After arriving on a small agri-world Do-Roka heard rumors of a rouge trader looking to hire crew feeling that this was his only way off the dust bowl of a planet he sought out the source of the rumor meeting a representative of the D'Autry Dynasty quickly sighing on hoping to one day return to his old kindred but until then making sure his new one survives.
