++Now Loading: Casta Dellero Gazetteer/Compiled by Adept Liona Moll as told by Master of Whispers Nada/Retinue Only++

Beginning life in Ruby’s Belt as another nickel-heavy asteroid, Casta Dellero was first played out by asteroid miners centuries ago. Like many asteroids, the asteroid remained as a simple hollowed out rock until engineers moved in to seal it and erect an atmosphere within the shell. After several centuries acting as one of the many plantations that supports the surrounding ships with foodstuffs, the plantation was purchsed by Janus Servius for an unknown fortune but suggested at being one of the highest purchases of real estate in Ruby’s Belt.

Several modifications were made to the asteroid following its purchase, including replacing many of the massive agri-habs built into the rock with more luxurious quarters, macrobatteries and even one lance battery. It is said that the asteroid hosts almost a full regiment’s worth of household troops but rumors state this number is substantially lower due to failing finances being unable to procue suitable mercenaries. A single agri-hab remains with stories telling of all manner of xeno creatures now in residence. Sustainers have been downgraded in capability as not nearly as many are required.

Once opulant and well maintained, intelligence reports state that several systems have begun to show their disrepair. First among them are the turret systems that have been slowly decreasing in capability as weapon failures have resulted in shuttering of a dozen of the once thick anti-spacecraft protection. Interior sections have begun to leak oxygen into the void, along with the heat that was once kept in. Energy couple failures have consequencially caused those remaining to become charged to the point of overloading as they work around the damaged systems.

However, even with this station in such bad straits it still stands as a chance for profit. Due to the purchase of the debts incurred by Janus Servius from House Krin, we have strengthened a connection with that House which could come to fruitition at a later time. In the meantime, if we successfully manage to take the station with a minimal amount of damage done, we could repurpose the station for our needs and sell much of the trinkets that were purchased by the current owner. As the Dynasty has grown to be regarded as an agriculture combine, we could see the station put back to its pervious use. Another consideration is that Rubycon is the gateway to the Calixis sector. As we develop locations on the other side of the Maw, this could serve as a point of distribution. However, warehousing does not make a profit. If we chose to earn a quicker profit on this, we could attempt to sell the location after seizing and a few renovations to entice buyers.
